Quijotes of Mingote, Goya’s Bullfighting; the Ñ Magazine, Máximo, Horcajada, Burillo, Varas, Solano or Caprile, are some of the exhibits that can be seen at Alcalá de Henares in 2014.
The Department of Culture makes a big bet by the sample ‘Alcala, in the photographic collections‘, with over a hundred rare photos of the city and its characters.
The halls of the Old Hospital of Santa Maria la Rica and Casa de la Entrevista will host diverse and varied exhibitions throughout 2014. In their programming highlight some national betting, with the contribution of the most acclaimed artists of the Complutensian environment.
In Santa María la Rica, from the current 44th edition of the City of Alcalá Awards will be happening the following exhibitions: ‘Revista Ñ, Revista para leer’, with lithographs of the great Spanish painters and literary content of the first order as a framework special programming for April of Cervantes. It will also be the unmistakable work of Maximus, who winned a Quevedos Award. Santa Maria also will host two great contemporaries and Complutensian artists, Ricardo Horcajada and Jorge Varas. Samples of the Comunidad de Madrid Red Itiner will show us his prism about Goya’s Bullfighting and Moro Studies. The Quijotes of Mingote or painters Francisco Solano and Pedro de Miguel are also part of this schedule.
One of the biggest bets of the council will be ‘Alcala, in the photographic collections‘, an exhibition that will define a before and an after, following a contribution of over a hundred rare and previously unknown photographs. The contributions of Alcine Festivals and Classics in Alcalá complete the Department of Culture exhibition schedule.
