«I Certamen Alcalá Gastronómica» is a gastronomic competition opened to all restaurants in Alcalá to disseminate and promote the cuisine of Alcalá de Henares.
Today was presented the I Certamen Alcalá Gastronómica gastronomic contest. The competition is open to all restaurants in the city. Those who formalize their registration should provide the public -throughout the month of May- the dish with which they compete in the format of «tasting» (similar to a tapa), and priced between 2 and 5 euros.
The I Certamen Alcalá Gastronómica gastronomic contest joins public and private forces to create a new gastronomic image for the city, enhancing its quality and diversity.
During the month of May, visitors can enjoy the dishes participating in the contest.
